reactpress new install not working anymore

I’m having an issue with the latest version of reactpress.

After I upgraded to the latest version, reactpress/apps folder disappeared.
I manually created it and added my react app to it but reactpress doesn’t recognize it.

I have a backup version of the old reactpress install which seems to work as expected. I can’t upgrade to the latest version. I don’t need the features in the latest version anyways. I just wanted the red update flag to go away ??
