    Dear Community Members,

We are informing you about changes to our support system. Moving forward, we will provide limited free support on these forums due to resource constraints. We still value the opportunity to contribute to the community and help users with their inquiries. The primary support will come from our community of users.

Before you create a new support thread, we kindly request that you take the following steps:

    • Please look at our extensive documentation, FAQs, and previous support threads. You can find answers to your questions there, as community members have contributed with their expertise.
    • Stay up to date with the latest versions of WordPress, PHP, themes, and plugins. If you encounter any issues, ensure you have updated all the necessary plugins and themes and that you’re running the recommended version of PHP, as per the official requirements. You can find the WordPress requirements at: https://www.ads-software.com/about/requirements/. It is also advisable to create a backup before updating. Note: we recommend testing all updates on your site’s local or staging version of your site before applying them to the live site.
    • We recommend installing a troubleshooting plugin developed by the WordPress team: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/. After you install and activate the mentioned plugin, it has a Troubleshooting mode that allows you to have a vanilla WordPress session where all plugins are disabled. You are using one of the default themes, but only for your user – your visitors will still see the regular website. Go to its troubleshooting mode and only activate the plugin to see if the same issue occurs with a default WordPress theme (such as Twenty Twenty-two) and no other plugins. If the problem no longer happens, then it means there is a conflict with something else on the site. You can then enable the plugins one by one to identify the cause. If the issue persists, feel free to open a support ticket here: https://github.com/WPChill/download-monitor/issues to let us know.
    • For feature requests and improvements, please share your suggestions at: https://github.com/WPChill/download-monitor/issues. Our team will thoroughly investigate and consider your input. Before opening a new GitHub issue, please ensure a similar ticket doesn’t exist.

If you need help with one of our premium extensions, please get in touch with us here: https://download-monitor.com/contact-us/.

We have a dedicated support team for premium users and valid license holders. We sincerely appreciate your understanding, support, and cooperation in adhering to these guidelines.

    Thank you,
    The WPChill Team.
