Read it and weep? Firewall defending what I do not have.
-
To WF tech support: The idea of the WF firewall is cool, but is there any reason to run defense against 99% plugin vulnerabilities I do not have? MORE IMPORTANTLY: When I check live traffic for hits being blocked by firewall, I see zilch, nada, ever since installing firewall. Cool beans or just, beans? Worth any server load?
Is unchecking things I do not have worth the time going in and checking, in terms of reducing server load, or should I just let it ride? I’d expect this will have thousands of entries within 12 months.
Feature request: Perhaps firewall can do 2nd grade level AI and actually look at which plugins are installed, and act accordingly?
