  • Is this problem specific to your theme/do you find the same thing with an unmodified default theme such as Twenty Twelve?

Sorry I never replied, but I figured it out on my own. It had to do with my theme. ??

    Hello,
I have a problem with some translations. Ex. “Previous Events”, “Next Events” at the bottom of the Event page and also “Search” at the top.
I have checked the po file in italian language and all seems ok, and I don’t know why some words aren’t translated and and everything else yes.
Can you help me? This is my website: https://caffeletterariovoltapagina.it/wordpress/?post_type=tribe_events
    Thanks.

    Hi Benedetta,

The reason you are seeing those parts in English is because the Italian translation is very outdated. I updated those two strings for you so that the links would be correct. You can download the new files at https://cloudup.com/c46qLaZmByu. Add those to the plugin’s /lang file in place of the old ones. That should correct the issue with Previous and Next Events.

However, there are still parts of the plugin that are outdated. If you’re interested in updating the translations for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO, we’d be happy to give you a free PRO license. Check out our Translation Forum for more information.

    Thank you.

    Hi sandras21,

To have those links (and other parts of the plugin) show properly in Italian, someone will need to volunteer to update the Italian translations for our plugins. If you’re interested in updating the translations for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO, we’d be happy to give you a free PRO license. Check out our Translation Forum for more information.

    Best,
    Leah
