Read More Button

I have your plugin installed and have the shortcode working somewhat. I can’t seem to get a read more button added without adding the excerpt. The design for this particular page only calls for the category, title and read more button. Is there a way to add an actual read more button to the shortcode.

I’m using Elementor and their shortcode widget to add the shortcode and we are using Elementor’s Hello theme.

I’ve tried using the template method described in your documentation but for some reason it doesn’t work with the shortcode.
