“read more” button not showing

  • Great theme! I am still fumbling my way thru customizing it. Like your demo I would like to have the “read more” button to appear with the excerpt. However, it is not showing. I do not have a clue as to how to get it to show up.

    I figured out how to create a excerpt. I have tried the “read more” thing with the classic editor, but to now avail.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Greetings, and also thank you for the comment about this theme. You were saying that you are using the excerpt for blog posts, but the read more button is not showing?

    I just checked my local test site with Moderne and I have the read more button showing. I did go to your link you provided, but it appears to be behind a login requirement (guessing a type of coming soon plugin is active). Is there a way to disable that for a moment then reply here to let me know to then view it?
