I’ve been using this theme for several years, so first let me say how much we love it. It has been the perfect fit for us. Thanks so much for all you have done for creating it!

Lately, on the front page scroll, the ‘Read More’ button is being pushed down too far. Often times, I don’t even see it – even in full screen. Prior to a week or two ago, we never had this issue. I’m not sure if we applied an upgrade or something else that has made this happen. Regardless, I’m just looking shorten the lead text so everyone can be sure to see the ‘Read More’ button and get to the information on the full page.

Any guidance you can provide would be appreciated immensely! Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

You probably changed the length of excerpts (which is displayed by each slide). You might have done this using a plugin or even by manually adding long excerpts.

There’s not much that the theme can do about this. That area is meant to display 20-30 words, not 100.

    Best regards,
    Dumitru B.

I’m not aware of changing the excerpt length anywhere, but to your point perhaps another plugin is adjusting it for the pages. Regardless, made me think of a way to fix it. I just went into the page excerpt section and created a custom, shorter excerpt for each. That solved it. Thanks for the quick response!
