“read more” does not expose remainder of post

  • I have set up my blog to only show an intro of each posting on the home page, however, after clicking “read more” a new page appears but the rest of the post does not.

    I’m a bit of a newbie, so if you have code that you recommend, please let me know where it should go.

    A quick note, while attempting to solve this problem on my own, I switched themes. Since I am using 2.8.6, I thought perhaps my theme wasn’t updated. Alas, I have the same problem in my new theme.

    Help!
