read More dont work

  • How i get the read more function working.?
    On the moment it dont work at all.
    I use the editor WPeditor, and try different ones but its all the same problem.
    can you help me out this problem pleasce

    What did you mean by

    There is only one ‘read more’ button in the WP editor in visual mode. In text mode you will see <!–more–> in the text but cannot insert a read more when editing in text mode.

    what theme are you working with?

    does the problem persist if you temporarily switch to the default theme Twenty Fourteen?
