"Read more" link and Author

Hi, I wanted all my content to be full width without any sidebar so I edited the div class in a couple of the .php pages. However, I then found that it somehow affected 2 things:

1. The “Read More” link under my excerpt is gone.

2. The entry-meta now only shows the date of the post, but not the author.

How do I get these working again?

Otherwise, I absolutely love this theme. It’s all I’ve been looking for.
