I’ve been very pleased with the ease and customization of this plugin. I am still in the draft phase of building a blog page. When I first added the shortcode, I configured it to link to the full post from the “read more” link. After a few days, the text and link disappeared. I have tried replacing the code several times. Currently, the code I am using is:

    [latest-selected-content perpage=”6″ showpages=”4″ display=”title,content-small” titletag=”h3″ chrlimit=”200″ url=”yes” linktext=”continue reading” image=”thumbnail” image_placeholder=”jca-logo” elements=”28″ css=”two-columns” type=”post” status=”publish” taxonomy=”category” term=”blog” orderby=”dateD” show_extra=”ajax_pagination,pagination_all”]

    Hello,

I tested and using the shortcode as in your example exposes the read more element. However, the content of 200 chars is pushing this down inside the wrapper, that’s why it is not visible, so I presume it’s a matter of styles.

Have you tried adjusting the height of the card (perhaps try adding this to your shortcode default_height="60vh" tablet_height="60vh" mobile_height="60vh")?

Let me know if this worked.

    Regards,
    Iulia

    Hello,

I haven’t heard back from you in a while so I will mark this as resolved.
You can start a new thread if you have other questions.

If you are satisfied with my plugin and you haven’t rated/reviewed it yet, please do this. It would not take you more than one minute and it would help me. Thank you!

    Regards,
    Iulia
