"Read More" link isn't being appended

There’s no sign of the “read more” links and I have no idea why. The shortcode looks like this:
[post-list category=”migraines” numberposts=2 show_excerpt=”true” excerpt_length=100]
The plugin is up to date, and so is wordpress. Any ideas?
