Read more not working

ive just started my website, an I sent it to a friend to see what ive done so far and when they went to the posts page, my one post only shows a summary of it an I had added read more link but when they clicked it it didnt take them anywhere much less b able to read the full post. How can I fix this so when u click read more goes to the full post
