I cannot get the More Tag to work on my page
    <!–more read more…–>
I see this text above in my editor but I do not see it on the page.
Do I need change any settings to see the More Tag function?

  • The tag should be <!--more-->.

I tried that too and it did not work either And then I read that you can add your own text after the word more. Neither work. Does your more tag work?

Tempera has options to display full posts or excerpts. If you set the theme to display excerpts and the <!--more--> tag comes after the normal excerpt cutoff (55 words), then the tag will be ignored.

And you can edit the text, but it’s more involved than just using the quicktag. Check out this link for more information.

First, thank you for your time. Where do I set the theme to display excerpts?
Here is my text with the more tag:
<p style=”text-align: justify;”>Das Hauptziel des neu beantragten Graduiertenkollegs <!–more –> ist die Ausbildung

Here is what I see on the website:
Das Hauptziel des neu beantragten Graduiertenkollegs ist die Ausbildung

I moved the more tag after the 6th word.
    Any ideas?

The link you posted is to a static page, not a blog post. By default, the <!--more--> quicktag doesn’t work in static pages. I’ve been trying to find out if there’s a way to change that behavior, but Google is coming up empty.
