Read more tag unwanted

    On my wordpress site all blogposts on the blog have the “read more” tag and i see only excerpts.

    In “settings, reading” i marked full text and hence unmarked excerpts. This happens in the normal blogpage and also after a search with a category.

    How can i prevent this?

  • Your theme needs to use the_content() in its templates in place of the_excerpt(). You could replace the templates yourself with a Child Theme, or contact your theme’s developer to see if there’s an easier way to do it with your theme.

    Also, note that the setting you changed was for the site’s RSS feed, not the actual site itself:

    For each article in a feed, show

    Thnx for the tip.

    I took another theme i also like ande erveything works fine now. ??
