Hi @ciupy, to make a readmore link for the_excerpt() use the following example from WordPress Codex: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Function_Reference/the_excerpt#Make_the_.22read_more.22_link_to_the_post

NOTE: best practice way is to do your theme modifications via a child theme. This makes it so that any updates to the theme does not overwrite the changes you’ve made to the theme. Here are a couple resources for making child themes:

I’ve only set up my theme locally yet. But can’t figure out how the theme will appear like the “demo”: https://digitalnewsreleases.com/
with excerpts of the posts on the post page, with “read more” buttons?
I thought this was a feature within the theme? Or is the way to follow the instructions in the above answer? (https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Function_Reference/the_excerpt#Make_the_.22read_more.22_link_to_the_post)

When I use different “post formats” they doesnt change the appearance of the posts… I thought they would?
