I just created a page and linked it with an image on my side bar. Some readers are telling me that in order to access the page, they are being told they have to sign in with WordPress. (They don’t have WP accounts.)

I don’t want anybody to have to do anything, other than click on the image, to see the page.

I have other pages that don’t appear to have this problem.

    Help, please!

  • Please check you didn’t make it password protected from admin.
and Which code have you put in sidebar?

Or deactivate plugin via FTP or whatever you have used and check if its working fine then activate one bye one until you get caused plugin.

    Thanks for your repsonses, Ahir.

I checked my code and learned that I had inserted the URL of my draft page, not my published page–duh.

    Thanks so much!!!!

I wrote and asked one of the people having trouble to try it out for me and they said they were still couldn’t open it. I’m going to deactivate my plug ins and see if that helps. Thanks

Yes if not then try to activate default theme like twenty fifteen and check again.
