• Hi,

Currently, I just installed AMP with Bimber theme. I am not confident to change its mode since I am not an expert on this. Based on the theme, which mode that is good for my website? I am thinking to change to standard because all is AMP.

Waiting for someone who are an expert to guide me. Thank you.

    Hi @sazarima,

I suppose this is the theme that you are using.

It does list “AMP ready” as a feature of the theme, but does not list this plugin as an integration. Nonetheless, I would recommend that you try Transitional mode first, which will serve two versions of your website: non-AMP and AMP. This way, you can view the AMP version of your website and see if anything would be broken, while the non-AMP version would still be available for viewing.

Once you are confident with your website in AMP mode, you can then switch to Standard mode.

@sazarima The Bimber theme has its own AMP Reader mode templates, you can see an example of their AMP templates here on one of their demo posts.

Transitional mode alway offers a better experience as @pierlo mentioned, and you may find the navigation menu and other features may not work in Bimber as it’s not fully AMP compatible. If you are comfortable with some development work you may be able to apply some fixes by following the plugins website, you’ll see a section here in relation to the toggling hamburger menus.
