Readers can edit my pages

  • When I updated, all of my pages now have “edit” at the bottom of each page and other people have gone on my site and placed ads. How do I get this “edit” off of my pages so that only I can edit?

  • Your pages can only be edited if the someone else is subscribed to your blog and has the role of Editor or Admin. Random visitors cannot edit any pages – even if an Edit link is visible.

    Thanks so much for your quick reply. I’ve also noticed that people have gone 0n my blog and put in their own ads. How do I stop this from happening?

    Random visitors cannot edit any pages. How many people are listed as Editors or Admins in your blog?

    Just myself. Apparently, others have been able to get on and I don’t understand why.

    Are you sure they are not comments??

    All I saw in your March 28,Jan 28, and older posts was a lot of what appeared to be comment spam. I didn’t see anything suspicious anywhere else.
