Readers can't Like my posts without signing into WordPress

The Like button you’re referring to is the WordPress.com Like button added by the Jetpack plugin, so it requires a WordPress.com account, just like how a Facebook Like button would require a Facebook account.

I don’t like that my readers have to log in to WordPress in order to Like a post. Is there another Like button option that I could add?

I think this is a serious flaw with otherwise wonderful WordPress.

I visit blogs on other platforms and I can easily “LIKE” their posts, with no login at all, but they can’t like MY posts if they don’t have a WordPress account. Not good at all.

INSTINCT tells you to press “Like” when you like something in 2016…

So hard to find info on this subject.

Thinking of moving my blog to wp.org, but if this issue can’t even be solved safely by reliant plugins, I’ll move to another platform, that is:

Leave WordPress. Hope I won’t have to do that?

Perhaps you haven’t read my replies here? This has nothing to do with WordPress, it’s the function of a plugin being used. In this case, Jetpack.
