readers can't subscribe to my blog

    Readers are having problems subscribing to my blog on https://hollykerr.ca/

    This is the message they get after clicking the follow button and putting in their email.

    Not Found

    Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help.

    I have been able to subscribe to myself using my gmail account, but nothing else. Please help!!!

  • I just signed up successfully (received a confirmation email) with IE10 and Chrome using gmail and Hotmail.

    did you use the follow button or the subscribe button? subscribe worked for my husband but not the follow button and i’ve had 3 other people try and fail. ???? I’m very confused about why some can and some can’t!!

    If some people can successfully use this feature whilst others can’t, then it’s not a WordPress issue. The problem almost certainly lies with their browser configuration or perhaps their local network.

    that’s what I just figured out too. Have you ever heard of this problem?

    I used the subscribe option. Using the follow option I get the error. You have a lot of validation error, https://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3a%2f%2fhollykerr.ca%2fmy-blog%2f and if you scroll down you will see at the end, errors coming from the follow option.

    You have a custom theme so there is not much we can do.

    [edit] The hover over the follow doesn’t seem right. You should check the script for that.

    If I take the follow option out and just keep the subscribe, do you think that will solve it or is it more involved?

    I think that is a good work around.
