I tried the plugin but it did not work.

you seem to be using a custom made theme which makes it virtually impossible for the forum to help you with your problem.

If you use wp-paggenavi plugin, you’ll need to add an php code to the template to display pagination. Otherwise, you will need to add Next and Previous Links php code, also from the link above.
