Can’t be entirely sure as the file difference tool has never worked for me but have had some readme.txt being reported as changed. Pretty sure they have not changed.

    Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/yet-another-related-posts-plugin/readme.txt
    Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/better-delete-revision/better-delete-revision.php
    Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/avh-first-defense-against-spam/readme.txt
    Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/meta-tag-manager/readme.txt

    Can you post the differences?

    Thanks.

If I choose the “see how the file has changed” button I get the following.

WordFence API error: We could not locate that theme in our repository.

    Always have done.

That’s strange. Not sure why you’re getting that. Is scanning still working OK for you? Are you able to start a new scan?

Yes the scan starts and runs to completion. It is correctly detecting other files which I have changed but these ones I did not.

I checked the SVN logs for one of the plugins above and it would seem that the developers changed the readme since tagging the change so although the 2 files are different it’s the repository version that is changed not my copy. I’ve not checked but this could be the case for the other files.

OK, if you’d like you can drop me a personal email at mark at wordfence dot com and create an admin account for me on your site and I’ll investigate. If you do decide to do this, then make sure you update this topic so that I notice it. Just let me know that you’ve created the admin account and that you’ve sent me an email which includes your domain name.

Please note that I can’t spend a huge amount of time on this because we have a lot of priority support customers we need to deal with, but I’ll give it a shot and probably resolve it for you.

    Regards,

    Mark.
