• I am noticing some strange things on my plugin readme.txt file.

    On this page: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/choozler-polls-and-opinions/
    I have lines that start with a single asterisk and space in order to create a UL. While some of them are rendered as lists, some just show the asterisk are not properly rendered.

    I also notice that some sections do not have their own tab. FAQs, Changelog, Screenshots don’t exist as separate tabs, but are sections under the Details tab.

    However, in the /wp-admin/plugins.php page, when the widget is listed, the popup does show each of those sections as different tabs. is that correct?

    There are also links that are not active. As far as I can see, if the link is in parens it should show as a link, with the link as the href. But they are just showing as plain text. Is it because I tried to put the link in a list as below:

    * Contact page: (https://www.choozler.com/contact)

    One last thing is that it seems that headers (with a single = on each side) are rendered differently on each page. In https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/choozler-polls-and-opinions/ they are rendered as all caps.

    On the /wp-admin/plugins.php they are rendered lowercase.

    Blank lines matter. Put a blank line between other lines and your * lists.

    And yes, not everything gets a tab. We order the sections as we need them, not arbitrarily.

    Your contact page link doesn’t work because you added a space between the brackets and the parentheses.

    Formatting matters. Spacing matters. The example file shows how to do these things exactly, and minor variations will not work.
