Really big problem

guys i really need help on this. i wanted to update wordpress so i, as usually, copy and paste all the archives in the ftp of my blog but all the mysql database result delete!! i almost cry but my hosting provider has the option to restore databases so i restored it from the last backup. the problem is that some table appears to be damage, i think is the wp_option because the message “You dont have enough permission….” is shown when i enter to the admin.

i created a new db and install wordpress there again and only replace the tables with the ones of the backup. but somethings are still missing like the categories arent show in the index, the recent comment plugin. well not to big things, but i need people with experience to help me out and tell what to do.
