Really good against SPAMS !

  • I use the plugin Akismet for all my WP Blogs.
    It’s really good against spammers.
    I rate 4 stars (and not 5) because of the API key, it’s a difficult step for a newbie to get an API key to make akismet work.

    If you could do something to improve on the signup/installation process, what would it be? I’m curious as to what you found difficult.

    Maybe integrate directly the form directly to the WordPress admin of the user to avoid to go to Akismet.com to get a API.

    For me, it’s easy.
    But a beginner can think : “I activate the plugin : why do I need to get an api key online, is it normal ? secure ? safe ?”
    But it’s still a very good plugin (:
