• When I use /%postname%/ in permalinks and then click on the category link below the post, I get a 404 page not found error. If I remove /%postname%/ then the category page is found. How can I fix this so I can use a permalink AND have the category page be found?

    Also …

I tried changing the permalink to /%post_id%/%postname%/ but when I click on category I still get a 404 error.

Here’s the link to one of the blogs that gets the error … with the permalink /%post_id%/%postname%/ … click on category link below post and you get a 404 error …

    How can I fix this?

  • Wow, you do have something screwy going on. Your link for the archives goes to a category named “category”, but your hover script says it’s for the category “shopper-discounts”.
So what category are these posts going into?
Also, I get a strikethrough on any link I hover on and your header shows with my cursor that it is a link, but it’s not clickable.
You may want to fix some of these, also:
