Really nice!

  • This was super easy to set up. I already had a lot of Posts, so it had no trouble finding bunches of related items.

    One little oddity, which I don’t mind, is that if you have a shortcode block near the beginning of your Post, it will pick that up in the excerpt. As a coder, I could probably filter the output to get around that. But I’m going to leave it and see if I can weird out my visitors. ??

    Very nice plugin quality…. super job! I look forward to some more engagement and maybe an SEO boost.

    Upon further observation, I now see that the shortcodes gracefully vanished from the excerpts! I imagine that this was just a caching issue, either in the plugin’s cache or my bigger one. So no problem with that after all!

    When I first set it up, I didn’t read the fine print in the changelog, which does mention keeping shortcodes out of the excerpt, so in fact, Barry is way ahead of me!
