Really redundant

  • Newbies to WordPress will find this editor that tries to add a design functionality to it, as simply confusing. There are MANY plugins that will do the job of Gutenberg a lot better and there is no need for WordPress team to add this function into WordPress 5.x.

    We all just want to write or create our posts, not figure out how to make the post different because we wanted a new design for it.

    This function is simply redundant.

    The old saying is, If it aint broke, dont fix it.

    But looks like WordPress and (numerous) other creators in the Tech field cannot or will not grasp this simple FACT. It is really annoying. I have lost count of the times when an “update” made things worse. This is certainly one of them.

    It would be helpful if you gave some specifics here – is there a particular area of Gutenberg that you find confusing? Or is there something that you feel it does not do well?

    Any insight you can share into your frustrations would be most valuable!
