    Hi

I started to get an error
No SSL detected. Use the retry button to check again.

Though I know I have configured SSL before successfully. I found out that these sites are behind CloudFlare SSL and other sites that I managed that are not behind CloudFlare does not have this problem.

I tried reinstalling and it would ask for username and password for cpanel and if I dont give the username and password, it would ask me to download and manually install the cert. I don’t remember this behavior before.

    Is this working as intended?

    Thanks!

Based on your description, it sounds as if SSL is probably available. In that case, I recommend to use the “override SSL detection” option, which allows to ignore the “not detected” message.

You can double check your certificate with https://ssllabs.com/ssltest

    Hi Rogier,

I’ll check on this, thanks for the heads up!
What if SSL is not provided?

Cloudflare offers free SSL, so it should work. But please check the following article to verify if it’s set up correctly:

    Hi,
One of the website I tried to verify got this error

HTTP challenge for “??????.com””: ????????.com/.well-known/acme-challenge/—————————————y6yVFJjJlqk tested, found invalid.

    Plugin Author Rogier Lankhorst

    (@rogierlankhorst)

When in the wizard, please type behind your URL: &reset-letsencrypt=1, so the url looks like:
    [yourdomain-here]/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=rlrsssl_really_simple_ssl&tab=letsencrypt&reset-letsencrypt=1

This will reset the Let’s Encrypt configuration, so you can start again.

Let me know if that helps.

    Hi Rogier,

    Still the same

Attempt 2. HTTP challenge for “?????.com””: ???????.com/.well-known/acme-challenge/——————————————-EU tested, found invalid.

    Thanks!

    Update:
So far so good… the “override SSL” worked for most of the sites…
only this one is left when I try to do some configurations.

    Thanks!

So, recap: this last site, it doesn’t have a certificate from Cloudflare? Or is it a different setup where you want to generate in Really Simple SSL a Let’s Encrypt certificate?

    (@chaoz23)

    Hi Rogier

The setup is almost all the same… i went through the wizard cuz it wont show the “override SSL”

Ah one sec.. let me try the reset-letsencrypt=1

    (@rogierlankhorst)

Alternatively, you can also load your website over https. The plugin will then always recognise SSL, and offer the activate button.

OK the reset thing worked.. and I override the SSL
but it still shows the error “No SSL detected. Use the retry button to check again.”
    =/

On the side note.. I do want to know what made the “found invalid” error on this domain.. others didnt have this error come out…
