REALLY Slowed Down Our Site – Test if You Use It

    I should have tested this upon installing the plugin, but I didn’t, and it turns out the plugin was causing major site speed issues. I have no idea why, but it has a ton of javascript that loads on every page, not just the Gift Card related pages. On the gift card product page itself, load times were 15+ seconds, and the rest of the site was 8+ seconds. Previously, site speed was around 3-4s on mobile speed tests.

    I appreciate that this plugin is free, but make sure you do testing to see if you have the same issue we did. Maybe you won’t, because everyone’s setup is different, but something to be aware of, for sure.
