  • Yes, design elements must be simplified somewhat for AMP. But if you have slow static pages this will really speed them up. It’s not meant for very dynamic pages because they are served from Google’s cache. This means if you’re using a cheap host your website can still load fast because it’s served from Google’s servers, not yours.
