Reassign one big folder to /year/month

    Hello,

    I have 6 digit number of images in following folders after aggregating multiple wordpress websites into one.

    • wp-content/uploads/
    • wp-content/uploads/2023/11

    All other folders are nearly empty, when I checked via FTP, but loading from your plugin, I can see there are some (not that many) images are assigned to earlier months in 2023, like Oct, Sep….

    Due to file IO issue, the webpage is loaded slowly, so I’d like to split the image as much as I can. Is it possible to re-position images to ‘correct’ month by your plugin?

    For example, for images that shows up in 2023/10 in your plugin, they are actually in uploads/2023/11 folder. This is not going to change much, but after assigning them to all earlier months, the image folders will be at least slightly lighter than now.

    Hey, looks like there’s some misunderstanding here as Folders creates virtual folders only. The plug-in has no influence over the dates of your files and doesn’t make any changes to your files upload date. I’m sorry for any inconvenience caused!
