• We have the lattest version of WP and Wp-=Property along with Agent, Power Tools and Capabilities plugins.

I wish to reassign the property associated with one agent to another agent. I cannot find anyplace to do this.

I have tried to change the ‘author’ in the database but the original agents widget still appears with the property. I am guessing the agent widget operates independent or is connected in some other fashion to the author part of the database…

Is there a way to reassign a property to a new agent without having to upload it again to assign it to a new agent? Thank you.

Hi Maria, I’ve been tied up with work and just getting to add to this post now…
Our site has a few agents on it. If one agent decides to retire or leave the company – how do I assign his properties to another agents account. For example:
Agent Bob has 5 properties as part of his account. He has decided to retire – So now I want Agent Maria to have responsibility for Agent Bob’s properties. I know I can link them as an admin by “checking” the box on “Associated Real Estate Agents” for each of the / Bob’s properties to connect to Agent Maria – however – this means I have to go in to each of Agent Bob’s accounts and select the check box.
    1. Is this correct or is there a simpler way?
    2. Once I do this – if i delete agent Bob – will his properties stay on the site connected to agent Maria?
    3. Will agent Maria’s real estate agent profile information then appear with the properties.?
    thank you.

Now your question is more clear for me, thanks.

In database author will be always person who created the property (agent or admin).

You can also find wpp_agents field in wp_postmeta table where you will see which agents assigned to property by id.

Also if you are using importer you can set up attribute matches in order to update property’s agents. – https://www.usabilitydynamics.com/product/wp-property-importer#documentation=attribute-matches-in-schedule-settings

    Regards.
