Rebranding WP

  • I’m going to be using WP for a company’s website and I’d like to replace the WP logo in the admin panel with their own and make a few other changes to the admin section so that it looks more professional. I’m fairly sure it’s allowed under the GPL to do that sort of thing (it’d almost be like forking the project), but just wanted to make sure.

  • Yes, it’s allowed.

    i think you can do that … just do not go as far as one i saw last night that made claims it was their cms interface – when clearly it was WordPress from the snapshot they had on their website.

    i will find the exact site later tonight and post the link since it is on my browser history on my home computer.
