    Hi,

I have chosen the double optin option, which although may make the list building slower, it will be better for it, i feel.

However, for the customers that do accept the extra step, i think the Recaptcha option, with having to choose what is is a qty of images is a complete put off.

Is there no way we can have the recapture with just the tick box please?

  • Hellow there @horsetags,

Thanks for reaching out to us. The reCAPTCHA will be included in MailChimp’s double opt-in process.

If you are wanting to use the double opt-in process but avoid reCAPTCHA, the best recommendation we can make is using one of MailChimp’s embedded signup forms on the site. For some further information about that, I’m including MailChimp’s knowledge base article below.

    Thank you,

    Thanks Opal,

I am using the double optin without recaptcha and have a signup form on my website.

My question was, could the recaptch option be reduced to just ticking a box and not having to look through images

    Hey @horsetags,

The reCAPTCHA process cannot be modified so it will include the images. That being said, the best option would be the double opt-in without reCAPTCHA via the MailChimp embedded signup form.

    Thank you,
    Opal
