reCAPTCHA badge is not displayed on AMP page

@laurencebichon You may not see the Captcha badge in AMP as it’s a JavaScript based feature.

There is a guide you can find here in relation to setting up Captcha with a form using WP Forms, although looking at your site I can see the Captcha resources on that referenced contact page.

Did you test your contact form to ensure it’s working as expected?

thanks for your replay.

I use reCAPTCHA V3 with WPForms.
It’s working with my AMP contact page. But I cannot see the reCAPTCHA blue badge, and thus websusers cannot see it either.

However, when I disable AMP for this contact page, I see the blue reCAPTCHA badge.

Is this normal ? I thought Google wanted reCAPTCHA badges to appear whenever reCAPTCHA V3 is being used in a page.

Can you switch your site to Transitional mode so we can compare the AMP and non-AMP versions?

I haven’t seen the reCAPTCHA badge on AMP pages before. I don’t see any reference to badges in the docs: https://amp.dev/documentation/components/amp-recaptcha-input/

The site in in transitional mode now.

I don’t know this mode. It seems to force the page to Enable AMP OFF.

There isn’t a toggle when editing the page to enable AMP? Do you have AMP enabled for the Page post type?

Yes, there is a toggle for AMP on the page.
I set it to AMP. Update the page.
But when I come back editing it, the toggle is NON AMP.

You are using the block editor (Gutenberg) and not the Classic editor, correct?

Yes, I use Gutenberg, and yes, Custom Fields Advance was on. I set it to OFF.

Now AMP stays ON.

It’s ON now if you want to go on with tests.

Still transitional mode.

@laurencebichon Apologies for the late response. The badge isn’t part of the amp-recaptcha component, which is why it won’t display in your AMP URLs.

Hopefully that answers your question. Let me know if you have any other queries on this.
