ReCaptcha Clears Form/ Error Messages

Hello, I have been using your form for a while and have mostly been very impressed, however, a couple of issues.
Firstly, I have been getting quite a bit of spam so I added a simple question to the form with a required answer which seemed to work quite well! but, in the interest of improving things then decided to add the Google Captcha.

This seems to work when all questions are answered (mandatory questions), but if a user does not answer all the required questions and tries to submit the form (it obviously does not submit the form which it shouldn’t), but also clears all the added content to the fields!! – This would drive me absolutely mad (I have experienced it on other forms) and would expect many users would not re-enter their information, simply go elsewhere.

I did a search and several blogs relating to this problem with Recaptcha with other forms are recommending that additional “else” code is added to the form script, is this something that could be looked at, or is there another solution.

The other query which again relates to mandatory fields that are not completed by the user is the error message, I notice that when completing the form on pc and some other devices no error message is shown if you try and submit the form with fields that are not completed (mandatory fields), it just scrolls back to the top not showing the error message, this was confusing for me when I first experienced it during trials so I would imagine that it again too would be annoying to users with a significant number of users opting to not refill the form.
