    Hey there, @macartur!

ReCaptcha configuration can be a bit cumbersome, be sure to double check the details below:

    1. Use ReCaptcha V2.
    2. Make sure your ReCaptcha configuration includes your site domain.

I hope that helps! Let us know how you go.

Thanks @thethemefoundry, when i try V2, “wrong key” error is gone, but then form don’t work and freeze.
I choose to use honeypot, maybe that’s enough

    Got it, @macartur.

We’re happy to hear honeypot is enough – for the moment. We’d still like to investigate your issue and make sure you can enjoy ReCatpcha. Could you duplicate your form, configure ReCaptcha on it, and pop it on a page you can share so we can take a look directly? That would surely help us get right to the point.

Let us know what you think!

    @thethemefoundry Thank you.
    On this page:

I placed two forms, the first works fine, but the second doesn’t.

    Thank you, @macartur!

That’s quite interesting – so it seems ReCaptcha is actually working with the right keys. We’ve tried replicating this scenario on our setups, but both forms work correctly. Out of curiosity, does switching the order of those forms in your page makes any difference?

    Let us know your discoveries!

I try to switch order on the page, but nothing has changed. Try to change form and leave just one field. Try to delete all fields and make new one. Try to enter new recaptcha keys, turn on and off email notification. It seems that don’t work exactly that one form. If I create new similar form, it works well.

    Got it, @macartur!

That sounds like some stale data is playing a role – although I wouldn’t know exactly what kind of data. We’ve noticed some glitches with recent versions of ReCaptcha, which we’ll address in our next release, but it’s not your case. Your ReCaptcha is definitely working correctly.

Let’s try a last check: would you try duplicating this form, publish it on your page, and check if it works? You can duplicate your forms easily from the Forms screen.

Thank you so much for helping us troubleshoot this!

    Thanks, @macartur.

At this point, if that form doesn’t contain key elements for you, it’s probably easier to just remove it, and move on with the new forms, on which ReCaptcha is working correctly. If this happens again, we’ll be glad to investigate (in that case, we’ll know for sure that stale data from older key releases isn’t playing a role).

I hope that works for you! Let us know what you think. ??
