• Hello,

I implemented reCAPTCHA a few weeks ago. All seemed fine at first.

But now when I click the check box and then SEND, the little circle next to SEND keeps on spinning until finally reCAPTCHA says “Verification expired. Click the check box again.” After a few minutes and another try, it *might* come back with “Your message was sent successfully.” Or it might test me by selecting pictures. (Is it *always* supposed to do that, by the way?) Or it might spin for a while and expire again.

I do get my auto-reply message, and the intended recipients do get their emails. It’s the form’s verification message mechanism that seems to be not working properly.

We’re on a WP Multisite with a couple dozen public sites, and we don’t want our site visitors upset over an apparent form failure, even if the messages themselves are getting through. So this is a critical UI/UX issue.

    ~ thx, Eddie
