reCaptcha in comments form

In the Hoffman theme on my site, https://quiethabits.net, I’m trying to add reCaptcha to my comments form. I’ve tried two different plugins and neither of them show up in the comment form. However, I know the plugins are working because whenever you try to submit a comment it brings up an error that the reCaptcha wasn’t entered correctly. I think this is an issue within the theme but I don’t know what to look for. Any suggestions?
