  • Hi there,

    > I added the Code to my functions.php file and it damaged the file. I had to re-edit the file via FTP. It says another way is to use a custom plugin – is there an alternate way of adding recaptcha to the submission form without editing the functions.php file?

You might remove the first line – <?php. If not, it might create some issues.

In any case, you still need to add the custom code. However, you can try this plugin as well.

    Cheers,

My field editor add on has this feature built-in, but if you want to do it manually I would recommend the code Snippets plugin over the functionality one. That functionality plugin hasn’t been updated in over a year the code Snippets one is frequently updated and maintained
