reCaptcha makes contact impossible

I’d like to use some sort of security screening on my contact form – especially to record the IP address – but the reCaptcha that you have chosen makes contact via phone IMPOSSIBLE.

When I tested it on my PC – it worked great. One tick and all done.

But then I was testing my website by accessing it from my mobile phone – as the vast majority of my visitors use their phone – I was horrified!!!!!!

When I tried to send a message through the contact form – the Captcha tick immediately changed to a screen with picture selection which in spite of my very careful and accurate selection kept repeating and looping and repeating and looping for several minutes! and then there was a message – there are some problems, we can’t submit your form now please try again later.

NO ONE TRIES AGAIN LATER! People simply move on to the next website, as they can’t be bothered.

No can I.

I know that this is not your program/plugin ( whatever it is) – but my point is that it PREVENTS people from contacting me!!!

so my question is – can I use a simple Captcha with just few letters to be typed in and NOT the reCaptcha with your Contact form? if so – how can I integrate it?
