ReCAPTCHA Missing or Invalid Parameter

    Hello, I’ve been using your plugin for about 2 months now and I’m using UsersWP CAPTCHA to protect my site. However, I found something that bothers me.

    After I’m filling the username and password filled, I clicked login, suddenly it shows the red error “reCAPTCHA ERROR: The secret parameter is missing or invalid. Please try again”

    But, when I click the login button once again, I can logged in normally without the error shows again.

    This is very bad for my users experience. They may thought there’s an error in the CAPTCHA and refuse to register to my site.

    For your information, this is happening both before I’m using cache plugin and after I’m using cache plugin. (I even clear all cache)

  • Hi,

    Can you try excluding the login and register page from the cache and see if it works for you? I think the captcha response is not set to the input field on page load and that’s why it is throwing error for first-time form submission.

    Okay, I’ve excluded the login page and register page in my LiteSpeed Cache plugin, but still it doesn’t work.

    Any other thoughts?
