    Hi there,

I am trying to get the reCaptcha blocked in Complianz, but it does not seem to work.

I tried with Contact Form 7 and also with the Contact Form widget by SiteOrigin.
    I tried both reCaptcha v2 and v3.

Complianz wizard is set to block reCaptcha before agreeing.

But the forms show no placeholder – instead they show the full recaptcha (with v2) – or the recaptcha link in the bottom corner of all pages (v3). Both is not GDPR-compliant, as this loads fonts from the fonts.gstatic.com.

    What am i doing wrong?

    Hello @netschmiede24,

We can’t block the native ReCaptcha implementation in Contact Form 7 version 5.4 and upwards. It would break forms when both of these integrations (CF7 & ReCaptcha) are enabled in Complianz, therefore the ReCaptcha integration will be deactivated when Complianz detects that both of those plugins are used, to restore the full functionality of the forms. Details about this can be found here: https://complianz.io/why-the-wp-consent-api-is-important-a-case-study-with-cf7-and-recaptcha/

To block ReCaptcha in your contact forms, we recommend an implementation such as the one described in this article for Forminator. Please find articles describing similar implementations for other forms plugins such as Ninja Forms, WP Fluent Forms, Elementor forms (and more) attached by clicking this link.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
