Recaptcha not correctly loading

  • Hello,

    there is a problem with this plugin.
    It does not always load correctly.
    There is this error in the console :
    Uncaught (in promise) ReferenceError: sibVerifyCallback is not defined
    at onloadSibCallback
    But all works fine when reloading the page.
    No conflict found.
    Forms were not sent so i disabled the plugin.

  • I am having problems with reCAPTCHA as well with this plugin. I was told by Caldera Forms that I had to come to this forum to get help. I am a paying customer of Caldera Forms. I also just disabled the plugin as it was preventing the form from working. Any help??

    What version of WordPress are you guys using? I’m running into a similar issue with 5.6…

    Your issue sounds like a plugin conflict though. Do you have any other recaptcha plugins installed? It might cause problems.

    I was running 5.5 at the time. I see people are having problems with 5.6 so I guess now I should go back and figure out if more of my forms are broken from the reCAPTCHA not working…

    Not running any other reCAPTCHA plugins.

    Also have the issue : if “Caldera Forms Anti Spam” activated in plugin list then contact form are not sending any mail …

    The last update was 4 months ago, I hope we will have a solution soon.

    @tabasko I enabled the advanced anti-spam option on one of my forms but it doesn’t seem to be having that much of an effect.

    In my discussions with Caldera Forms they advised that there’s no need for me to pay for Caldera Forms Pro moving forward since they no longer provide enhanced delivery, which was the main reason I was paying for the premium option.

    I didn’t realize the reCAPTCHA add on wasn’t actually authored by Caldera Forms when I first made the post.

    Yes this is why we posted here rather than calderaforms forum page ??
    I really hope they will fix this in the next release.

    @tabasko Yep. I check my forms once per month, and I have a few on sites that still worked on last check even with this plugin enabled. Others had issues and started working again once the plugin was disabled. So I dunno.

    Working site are WP < 5.6 I guess, no ?

    @tabasko Doesn’t seem to be. The issues started in WP 5.5. I’m working on checking all sites again so I’ll report back what I find.

    Hello,

    everything is up to date and i’m still facing the same issue :
    recaptcha only loads when refreshing the page. So absolutely no form is sent…

    Can’t work without contact form.
    I have changed for another solution.

    Now using CF7. I don’t like settings appearance, but it works.
