• I’ve configured recaptcha in my website (hipersuministros.es) and configured with both keys but it does not appear neither the Woommerce registration form (https://hipersuministros.es/mi-cuenta/) or the checkout form. Of course, i’ve selected the corresponding checboxes but them don’t work.

I’ve also tried creating new Keys, but still not working.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Have you customised those pages in any way? The browser console is showing “Error: reCAPTCHA placeholder element must be an element or id”, which seems to imply that a form may not be set up properly.

Hi Gal, no, i haven’t customized them. Actually, i’ve got a staging area in another hosting and with the same configuration Recaptcha works fine.

I’ve compared all plugins, functions file and other configuration, but even though Captcha throws the error you mention.

Is there anything else on the site that might be injecting reCAPTCHA-related code? The code on your page is very different from the one on my checkout page.

Can you share your reCAPTCHA for WooCommerce plugin settings (without the secret key)?

Can not attach any file: I’ve checked the three woocommerce checboxes and unchecked the “Guest checkout only”.

I’d like to attach a screenshot of the plugin settings but can’t upload it here.

To send screenshots, you need to upload them to the cloud, e.g. to imgur.com.

Since I don’t use reCAPTCHA on my login page, I checked your checkout page and it also shows script errors. It looks like you’re loading another reCAPTCHA instance (v3) and it conflicts with the one added by the plugin (v2).

    Okei, here’s the settings screenshot.

I’ve looked at the checkout page code and can’t see the v3 code. I find the v2 with its license but i don’t find the v3 license.

If you compare to this checkout page (after adding something to the cart), you will not see the enterprise.js script there, and you’ll only see 4 matches for “recaptcha” in the code.

On your checkout page, there are 7 matches, so something is clearly adding 3 additional occurrences to the page.

Maybe this is added via Google Tag Manager?
