recaptcha not showing on Register page

    Recaptcha does not show on the registration page (see link).

    In the Recaptcha settings, all of the WordPress Standard tickboxes are ticked, i.e. login, registration, password reset, reactions form.

    In your manual, chapter 2.2.3.10. BuddyPress, a BuddyPress Plugin is mentioned. This option does not show with me, I only have Contact Form and Recommendations. Do I need the paid version for this?

    bbPress v 2.6.6
    BuddyPress v 7.2.0
    reCaptcha by BestWebSoft v 1.6

    Never mind, the answer is Yes, BuddyPress support in is the paid version only.

    Rant alert!

    So this happens when your provider takes your site offline because of lots of spam topics on your forum, so you google how to install recaptcha, you find a tutorial & you follow that and yes some stuff does have recaptchas but not all. And you’re not that familiar with WordPress because you inherited that site from someone who went on to pastures new without proper briefing so you spend evenings down rabbit holes to find out how things fit together and then finally you step back, and decide to RTFM & the TOS.

    Yes, you’re right, reCaptcha is compatible with BuddyPress only in pro version. Thanks for your rant. We wish you good luck in the future.
