    Hi, I have had Wordfence using reCAPTCHA installed for several years and it has worked perfectly. Until today. I wanted to check my contact form and I noticed that there was no reCAPTCHA logo. When I completed the form and tried to send it I received the following message – “The Captcha field cannot be blank. Please enter a value.” Nothing appears to enter a value.

    I have loaded the page into my editor (Elementor) and as soon as I load it the reCAPTCHA logo appears on the page.

    I have tried all the normal things eg clear my cache, use it on several different browsers (Edge, Opera, Firefox) and it won’t work on them. I have tried getting someone else with a different computer to try and they are getting the same message. I have also tried it on my android phone and it came up with the same message.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi @siobhanf, thanks for reaching out.

    ReCAPTCHA logo should show on login/registration pages provided they’re default WordPress pages. Our 2FA and reCAPTCHA features are not yet compatible with custom login pages.

    Could you please take a look at your browser console on the pages where you expect to see reCAPTCHA? You may see errors that could point to either a plugin conflict (testable by disabling all other plugins to see if it starts working) or an error when initializing reCAPTCHA. You can show any errors to me using a service like Snipboard if you need further assistance diagnosing the cause.

    Thanks,

    Mark.

    Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I have done that and have received the message – Failed to lead resource: https://www.googletagmanager…
    net:: ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

    This is on a Contact page on my website which is for the site visitor to complete if they want to contact me for any reason. It doesn’t require any login on the visitors part. – https://www.alternativeperspectives.scot/contact/

    I how now resolved this. I had installed a plugin (as advised by my hosting company). Unknown to me it had also installed a Forms plugin as well. I deactived the Forms plugin and my form worked correctly again. Unwanted plugin now deleted.
