    Hi Takayuki,

I’ve done a lot of tests and research these days, but can’t figure out why if the reCAPTCHA (v3) integration is enabled, I keep see the red box with the classic error message There was an error trying to send your message.

But if I remove the keys, all works as usual.

CF7 is been up more than 2 years on the site, with no issues, and right now we see this one, but nothing was edited, no new plugins TBH.

Already created two times new v3 keys on reCAPTCHA, cleared cache, tested on different browsers, same issues if the integration in on.

If you have any advice I’d love to hear them!

Thanks for your awesome work ??

  • I’m having the same issue since today. No new code, updates, or plugins were added. Maybe it’s a change on Google’s side?

I removed the reCAPTCHA keys from WordPress for now, but it’s not a solution.

Exactly that, was thinking the same that’s why also searched online.

Until now the only way found was to remove the reCAPTCHA keys,
    like you’ve done =/

Where on the site do you have the form having the issue?

In my case on both of the “contact us” pages:
    ENG
    ITA

I get the warning “Unsafe email config is used…………” in my no. 2 mail re. [your-email] even I have a working recaptcha v2 in my contact form.

Similar problem here. In my case the message says it is spam. And the problem happens before last update (I just did the update at 10:27 (GMT+2) and after update.

Without the Recaptcha integration the mail comes through, but spam too…

Try switching to the default theme, deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7 and Classic Editor, and clearing all cache data.

Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.

After many test saw the issue is with Iubenda, a cookies compliance plugin.

@b0gucki3 @zoonars if you have something similar installed maybe can be that.

CF7 was my favorite contact-plugin since years!
Bad that I have to search now for another one, as you, CD7, force me to use googles reCAPTCHA. There are several other captcha-plugins which are working too.
OK until now only a kind of “warning” is shown (always at an “error”) at CD7, but I cannot believe that this is the end :-(. I guess the time will come that you will not allow to public a form with reCAPTCHA.
    Bye Juergen

    Errata corrige:
for some reasons (that I honestly don’t know),
even after all the edits the CF do not work again.

The only way to make it work is to disable the reCaptcha v3 keys.
